i think that the pearl evokes lots of greed and envy.
i think that pearl brings out selfishness and greed into to kino because he wants the highest price for it and alot of stuff that he could live with out if it werent for the pearl.
i think that the pearl brings out cation into jauna because she knows so many people want the pearl.
i think that the pearl brings out alot of envy and jealousy in the neighbors because kino has found the pearl and now he will be rich.
i think that the pearl brings out even more greed, hatred, and cruelness in the doctor because he wants that pearl so bad so he can go to london and drink tea and coffee all day
i think that the pearl brings out slyness in the preist because he wants that pearl to help the church and himself
i think that the pearl brings out envy from the towns people because kino has the pearl of the world

    Nice job Taylor. I didn't think of selfishness as the trait that the pearl brought out in Kino, but it is very true that the pearl brought out selfishness out of Kino.
